Empire State Manufacturing Survey higher by 4.2 Point – Trading News, Economic Report

In Economic trading News: There was a 4.2 point increase in the Empire State Manufacturing Survey in April.  The general Business conditions index reached 21.70.  A detailed reading of the survey showed an increase in the number of employees, new orders and shipments.  The Empire State Manufacturing Survey acquires data based on a survey from 175 manufacturing CEOs on the first of every month; they also include the personal judgment in regards to the direction of these indicators over the next 6 months.
