CHICAGO, Dec 10 (Reuters) – The U.S. Agriculture Department
pegged U.S. corn ending stocks for the 2010/11 (Sept/Aug)
season at 832 million bushels, raising it from its November
estimates when an average of trade estimates had expected a
lower ending stocks number of 806 million.
The USDA estimated 2010/11 U.S. soybean ending stocks at
165 million bushels, compared with an average trade estimate
for 160 million bushels. U.S. wheat ending stocks were pegged
at 858 million bushels versus estimates for 839 million.
The department estimated 2010/11 Australian wheat
production at 25.50 million tonnes, compared with its November
estimate of 24 million. Australian wheat exports were pegged at
15 million tonnes, compared with 16 million in November.

CHICAGO, Dec 10 (Reuters) – CBOT corn was called to open
down 2 to 4 cents per bushel on Friday, wheat down 3 to 5 cents
and soybeans mixed — up 5 to down 5 cents per bushel —
following the release of USDA’s December supply/demand and crop
production reports, traders said.
