on portions of the U.S. winter wheat crop and weather concerns in Australia
also supportive.
* Dry weather in the U.S. Plains continues to hamper early growth and
development of the U.S. hard red winter wheat crop, especially in the
western areas.
* Rainfall last week in the U.S. Midwest benefits soft red winter wheat
growth but dryness remains a concern in the eastern portion of the Midwest.
* Wet weather in eastern Australia hampering wheat harvest and dryness
a concern in west Australia.
* Australia wheat quality hit by rain, harvest slows.

CORN – Up 7 to 8 cents per bushel.
Support from news Argentina was in talks with China about exporting
corn to the Asian country in addition to a technical recovery bounce after
the limit-down close on Friday.
SOYBEANS – Up 7 to 8 cents per bushel.
Technical bounce after the limit-down close of soy futures on Friday
due to talk China would raise interest rates over the weekend.
* Deliveries on November 149 contracts. UBS customer issued 118 and ADM
house stopped all of the soy.
* Showers in Brazil boosting crop prospects and there are forecasts for
showers in the drier areas of Argentina.
