Prior Consensus Consensus Range Actual Construction Spending – M/M change -1.4 % 0.5 % -0.5 % to 1.0 % 1.4 % March showed a slight rise in  the construction sector of the economy.  Construction spending in March was 1.4% higher after February’s 2.4% drop.  1.4% in March was 0.5% higher than the expected median. First Quarter GDP showed to be on 1.8% annualized pace; this comes after a 3.1% 4th quarter last year.  The expectation for the first quarter was a median projection of 2.0%.
